We are excited and privileged to be sharing your child’s learning journey with you. We provide a happy, stimulating and nurturing learning environment where your child is enabled to do their very best. We follow a wide and varied Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum which builds upon and develops each child’s knowledge and skills. Our curriculum is play based and children will learn through a range of child-led and adult-led activities in both our indoor and outdoor spaces.
The EYFS has seven areas of learning and development. Three areas are particularly important for building a foundation for igniting children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for learning, forming relationships and thriving.
These are the prime areas:
• communication and language
• physical development
• personal, social and emotional development
The four specific areas, through which the three prime areas are strengthened and applied.
The specific areas are:
• literacy
• mathematics
• understanding the world
• expressive arts and design
Mrs Skeggs is our Nursery class teacher and Mrs Atkinson and Mrs Wood are our Nursery practitioners. We look forward to building a strong partnership with you as your child begins their journey with us at Offley Endowed Primary School.

Welcome back everybody! Please find attached our implementation plan for this half term's topic 'dinosaurs'. We already have a number of dinosaur experts in the class and we are all learning (teachers included) so much! If the children have any dinosaur models, books or anything else dinosaur related that they would like to share please send it in.
